Free Track Inspections for Summit Point HPDE
Share
When I started my HPDE journey, I used to take my car to a shop that would charge $80 to complete a track inspection. A year into it, Craftsman auto care https://www.craftsmanautocare.com/ opened shop in Sterling near my house.
The next HPDE, I took my 2002 E46 M3 there to get the oil changed and track inspection form completed. I was a little surprised when Andrew, the racing shop lead, completed the track inspection at no charge!
Andrew is a great resource for all your car needs, he is extremely helpful and will offer you free advice on how to take care of your car too.
This is not a promotion for their store, but merely a tip to save you some money to spend on seat time instead of tech inspections.
I also started replacing and bleeding my brakes myself, which saved me another $120 in Brake oil changes.
So a total $200 went back to my pocket and I could use them to buy a new tire!
I am sure other shops offer a free tech inspection too, ask around before you spend money!
