About HJC Helmets

HJC's car-racing line is short — the H10, the H10 in carbon, and the H70, all Snell SA2020 — and the rest of this page is replacement shields.

Those shields are the reason most people arrive here. HJC list them by the standard they fit rather than by helmet name, so an HJ-28 covers SA2015 and SA2020 shells while an HJ-08 covers the older SA2005 and SA2010 generation. Check which your lid takes before ordering; the shells look similar and the shields are not interchangeable.

HJC are far better known for motorcycle helmets. Make sure anything you buy for track use carries an SA rating, not an M rating — an M-rated helmet has no fire-retardant lining and will not pass a car tech inspection.
