Collection: Racing Harness

Four, five and six point belts from Sparco, OMP and Sabelt in FIA and SFI ratings — with the Brey-Krause bars and mounts that anchor them properly.

About Racing Harness

A harness only works as a system. The belts are the cheap part; what decides whether they help or hurt you is where they are anchored and what you are sitting in.

Shoulder belt angle is the thing people get wrong. Run the shoulder straps upward from your shoulders and a hard stop drives your spine into compression. They want to run level or slightly down, which on most cars means a harness bar or a proper mounting point behind the seat — not the rear seat belt mounts.

Standards: FIA 8853-2016 and SFI 16.1 are the two you will see. Both carry expiry dates, and most series check them at tech. Six-point belts add an anti-submarine strap that stops you sliding under the lap belt; that only functions in a seat with the right holes, which is why harnesses and fixed-back seats are usually bought together.
