Where to fill gas at Summit Point Motorsports Park

Driving from Sterling, Virginia to Summit Point Motorsports Park for High Performance Driver Education (HPDE) with the Potomac PCA team.

I drove to the track on Route 7 West starting from Sterling, Virginia. Stick to the speed limit, VA police is very diligent in enforcing the speed limits. Don’t be that guy pulled over for speeding on route 7 when you know you will spend the weekend on the race track going as fast as you dare.

Right before I get to Summit Point, there are two gas stations I can use to fill the tank. 1- CITGO gas station at 4192 Harry Byrd HWY, Berryville VA. This gas station is very small and does not have a turn in lane. It also creeps up after a hill, giving you less time to slow down enough… 2- 340 Fuel Depot at 3355 Lord Fairfax HWY, Berryville VA. This is a much larger gas station with a lot more food and drink options. They also have 10 pumps with plenty of room for cars and trailers. The track has a gas station at the paddock of Summit Point Main, prices are 20% more than the other two on average.

I am told sometimes they are priced cheaper than out of the track, but I am yet to see that myself. Please let me know if you have other gas options you use at Summit point!
