Seat Brackets & Side Mounts

Every racing seat needs the right bracket. A seat bracket (also called a seat base, side mount or seat adapter) bolts your aftermarket seat to your car's factory floor mounting points — so fitment is vehicle-specific, not one-size-fits-all.

We stock brackets from Planted, Sparco, OMP, Sabelt and Brey-Krause covering hundreds of chassis, from an E30 to a 992, plus trucks and 4x4s. Most are sold per side, so check whether you need driver, passenger or both.

Choosing the right bracket

  • Confirm your exact chassis and year range — a 1992-1999 E36 bracket will not fit an E46.
  • Check side mount vs. bottom mount — side mounts bolt to the seat's side flanges; bottom mounts bolt underneath.
  • Decide on a slider — brackets can be fixed or slider-compatible if you need fore/aft adjustment.
  • Mind seat height — low-mount options gain headroom for helmet clearance on track.
