About Driver Cooling

Two ways of keeping a driver cool are on this page: a water system that pumps chilled water through a garment, and a cooling vest.

Water systems come from Coolshirt and FAST. FAST list the Racer and the Air & Water system at 13 quarts and the Complete Ultra at 19; Coolshirt offer the Pro 19-quart Air & Water system and the battery-powered Hothead. FAST's insulated water hose is sold separately.

Cooling shirts and pants: FAST's cotton, Carbon-X and Alpha Wicking cooling shirts; Coolshirt's Cool Water shirt, 2Cool compression shirt and 2Cool shorts; and Coolshirt's Firewear fire-resistant cooling pants.

Cooling vests from Alpinestars, OMP and Sparco — Sparco's is the Ice-Vest.
