Collection: SA2025 Helmets

Helmets built to the SA2025 standard. SA2020 lids still pass tech at most clubs today — but if you are buying new, buy the standard your inspector will still accept in five years.

About SA2025 Helmets

Snell renew the SA standard every five years, and SA2025 is the current one. Everything on this page carries it.

Why it matters: clubs and sanctioning bodies accept SA ratings for a limited window and then retire the older one, each on their own schedule. Buying to the newest standard is how you avoid a helmet ageing out of your run group while it is otherwise still good — which is a common reason people replace a helmet that has nothing wrong with it.

The range here is still small because manufacturers stagger releases across the cycle. If your organisation still accepts SA2020, the wider helmet range gives you far more choice, often at better prices — this page is for anyone who wants the longest runway.
