Designed in collaboration with the McLaren/Honda F1 team, the Sparco Prime SP-16.1 reigns supreme as the lightest FIA Approved racing suit on the planet. The Prime SP-16.1 starts with a proprietary, 3-layer sandwich with a robust double-faced mesh outer layer using DuPont's comfort nomex and woven with Sparco's Kompact system. This material contains a high percentage of anti-static fibers and greatly increases overall breathability, while weighing in at a slight 240/270 grams per square meter. Developed entirely in Sparco's advanced R&D labs, the project reviewed and optimized every single detail, analyzing materials and construction throughout. An ultra slim zipper was added, along with soft & seamless Nomex/Vicosa wrists and ankle cuffs, lightened neck & shoulder pads, and finally a thinner thread to further flatten the already flat seams. Finished with pre-curved arms and legs, the suit still manages to keep strategic stretch panels in its lightweight theme, maintaining the high levels of comfort Sparco suits are known for. Available in just 2 simple, yet bold, color options.

Sparco FIA suit sizing. Height and weight are guides only. Chest and waist are the measurements that matter. Measure over racing underwear, not over street clothes.
Sizing is from the manufacturer and varies between brands. Measure yourself and compare against the table rather than ordering your usual street size.
