About Verus Engineering - Porsche 991 GT3, GT3 RS & GT2 RS

The 991 GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 RS are among the most aerodynamically developed cars Porsche has produced — which raises rather than lowers the value of aftermarket aero, because these chassis can genuinely use the load. Verus builds wings, splitters and trim pieces that go past the factory numbers while keeping OEM fit and finish.

What's available for the 991

  • UCW Rear Wing Kit — 991 GT3 — optimized airfoil, billet mounts, carbon endplates
  • V1X Carbon Swan Neck Wing — 991 GT3 RS and GT2 RS — swan neck mounting keeps the wing's pressure surface clean for more efficient downforce
  • Front Splitter Kits — separate parts for 991.1 GT3, 991.1 GT3 RS, 991.2 GT3 and 991.2 GT3 RS
  • Dual Element Dive Plane Kits — 991.1 and 991.2 fitments, matte or gloss clear coat
  • Wing Riser Kit — raises the factory blade into cleaner air; also available raw
  • Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors — kills the low-frequency cabin booming with the windows down

Fitment is specific — read carefully

This is the platform where ordering the wrong part is easiest. The 991.1 and 991.2 bumpers differ, and GT3 and GT3 RS bumpers differ again, so there are four distinct front splitter kits in this collection. The dive planes likewise split between 991.1 and 991.2. Confirm both the generation and the exact model before ordering.

Swan neck vs conventional mounting

A conventional wing mount attaches under the element, disrupting airflow across the low-pressure surface that generates most of the downforce. A swan neck mount hangs the wing from above, leaving that surface undisturbed — more downforce for the same drag. That is what the V1X offers on the GT3 RS and GT2 RS.

Building the package

If you are keeping the factory wing, the wing riser kit is the highest-value change here — it lifts the blade into cleaner air for a fraction of the cost of a full wing. If you are replacing it, pair the UCW or V1X with the correct front splitter for your chassis; adding wing without front load will make the car understeer at speed. Dive planes are the fine adjustment on top.
