About Hawk DTC-30 Brake Pads

DTC-30 is the outlier in the DTC series, and Hawk are specific about who it was built for: the Open Wheel and Dirt Circle Track racer.

It has a wide temperature range and exhibits excellent rotor wear. Hawk describe the bite and feel as very smooth, providing controllable torque and exceptional release characteristics — the same qualities as the rest of the series, tuned for lighter cars and surfaces with less grip rather than for outright bite.

If you are on tarmac in a heavier car, DTC-60 is the more usual choice. Pads are listed by part number — HB119W.594, where HB119 is the shape and W is DTC-30.
