Collection: Brey-Krause Harness Bars & Mounts

Harness bars, mounts and lap belt hardware from Brey-Krause — the chassis-specific anchor points that put your shoulder straps at an angle that helps you.

About Brey-Krause Harness Bars & Mounts

Brey-Krause harness bars, harness mounts and lap belt hardware, built chassis by chassis rather than universal.

The common mistake is bolting shoulder straps to the factory rear seat belt mounts. Those points were designed for a three-point belt at a completely different angle. A harness bar gives you an anchor at the correct height behind the seat — Brey-Krause describe the job as properly locating and supporting the shoulder harnesses relative to the driver, which is exactly the geometry problem a bar exists to solve.

Everything is listed by R-number and by car — the R-1030 bar for a 996/997 Coupe, the R-1287 for an F87 M2, the R-9005 tunnel-side lap belt anchor for aftermarket sliders. Most designs use existing holes and mounting points, and the listings state where trim modification is needed, so read the product page before ordering.

The range is deepest on Porsche — 911 Coupe from 1974, 996, 997, 991, Cayman 987 and 981, and the GT3 Cup — with BMW bars for the E46 and E92 Coupe, E90 and F30 Sedan, F80 M3 and F87 M2.
