Collection: PFC 08 Compound Brake Pads

08 is PFC's endurance compound and the one to pick when smooth initial bite matters more than a hard first hit. PFC describe it as having “gained immediate favor in Endurance Sportscar, and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must.”

They list a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation, and very low abraded disc wear — and say the 08 wears the longest of all PFC pads while still carrying a much higher bite than competitors at the same wear rate. If you are paying for rotors as well as pads, that combination is the argument.

Against the 11, this is the calmer pedal: less of an initial hit, more progression, longer life. Pads are listed by PFC's four-part number — the first block is the pad shape, the second the compound. Check it against PFC's application guide before ordering.
