Collection: Hawk Blue Brake Pads

Blue is Hawk's multi-purpose racing compound, and their own description explains why it keeps selling: the Blue 9012 racing compound exhibits medium to high temperature and torque control, with excellent modulation and release characteristics. Hawk note it is especially useful for lighter-weight cars, and call it a best seller with the SCCA.

That SCCA line is the tell. This is a club racing compound — enough temperature range to survive a session, enough control to drive the car rather than manage the brakes, and not so aggressive that a lighter car keeps locking up.

Against the DTC series it gives away outright bite for range and predictability. Pads are listed by part number — HB100E.480, where HB100 is the shape and E is the Blue compound.
