About Pagid RSC-1 Brake Pads for Ceramic Rotors

RSC-1 is the one compound here you cannot substitute. Pagid developed the RSC line specifically for ceramic disc applications — PCCB and the equivalent ceramic rotors on other high-end cars — and running a normal racing pad against a ceramic rotor is an expensive mistake.

It is designed for track days and shorter sprint races rather than endurance, and Pagid list its qualities as excellent cold friction, fade resistance, and low thermal oxidation of the ceramic disc fibres. That last one is the reason the compound exists: it is about protecting the rotor, not just stopping the car.

If your car has ceramic brakes, start here rather than in the RS or RST ranges. The listing titles name the U-number, which is the pad shape, and several say the brake package outright — read the bracket before ordering.
