About PFC 11 Compound Brake Pads

11 is the compound PFC built to replace the 01, and it is the largest range stocked here. In PFC's own words it takes “the same great high-bite and torque but with even better rotor and pad wear characteristics and improved bite, modulation, and release.”

They describe a very high initial bite and torque with very little temperature-induced torque rise, and less torque scatter for improved modulation — with an excellent release that helps eliminate wheel lock at the end of a stop. That last part is what you feel: the pad lets go cleanly rather than grabbing as the car slows.

Pads are listed by PFC's four-part number — 0918.11.19.44 and so on. The first block is the pad shape, the second is the compound. If you already know your shape, search that number rather than your car, and check it against PFC's application guide before ordering.
